Treasurer’s Report
- First Greg and then David Schwindt presented
the report Schwindt & Co prepared on our 2005 financials
- There is an obscure Oregon law which allows
a developer to pay only reserve expenses, no operating costs, on unsold
units if the CC&Rs are written to support this. Ours were, so we can only expect
West Hills to have contributed to reserves. However, it appears they were about $35,000 short for
the rowhomes. A letter has
been sent to West Hills about this but a reply has not yet been received.
- Greg and Scott will be looking into ways to
safely invest the money we have in reserves.
- Greg presented the March financials; nothing significant to report.
