Landscape Committee Meeting

2 April 2005

1) Called to Order 8:47 am

2) Attendance

a) Present: Barbara, Cynthia, David, Dylan, Krishna, Paula

3) Approval of Minutes

a) Minutes from the March meeting were reviewed and unanimously approved.

4) Discussion of Committee mission statement. Committee members provided input, David to draft statement.

5) Discussion of need to set timeline for 2006 landscaping bid process.

a) Possible schedule is 11/15 bid deadline, walkthroughs in early Nov.

6) Krishna explained what was learned on previous walk-through with Showplace and Board members:

a) Watering timers are covered by warranty, unsure if that is being honored.

b) May have to change practices, redirect funds to preserve Oaks (as opposed to perfect grass).

c) Arborist looked at Oaks, we can try to get copy of report.

7) Walkthrough with John Shewchuck of Showplace Landscape.

a) They will submit bids for various items discussed.
