NHWC Meeting Minutes

Date: Monday, October 3, 2005

Time: 7:30pm-8:30pm

Attendees: Shaun, Susan, Krishna, Adam, Connie, Sue

Discussion of signs

• Park sign stating hours of “dawn to dusk” for the park with the basketball court. Standard Parks & Rec style sign.
• NHW Signs from Hillsboro Police will be the standard Boris the Burgler signs, 18x24, reflective aluminum to be placed on existing posts.
• The price for the signs is $31 each and we will be ordering 6 signs to be located as follows:
• Entrance at Birch
• Entrance at Alder
• Entrance at Dogwood
• Entrance at Orenco Gardens Parkway
• Entrance at Chestnut
• The Park with the basketball court

Lighting for Park It was decided to defer this item and put it on hold until the signs have been installed. To be revisited at a later date.

Hillsboro Police Non-emergency Number to be posted on the website.

HOA Meeting on Oct 12^th

Shuan will make an announcement about the NHWC, what it is, that we are looking for block captains, and that anyone interested can sign up with a committee member after the meeting. Sign up sheets and informational flyers will be provided.

Informational Flyers

Informational flyers can be attached to door knobs and posted the web.

Action Items:

• Krishna – Send an email to board for approval on money for flyers and signs.
• Krishna – Clarify with Board what level of spending we need to get permission for.
• Krishna – Get signs approved via email and notify Shaun so he can order them from HPD.
• Shaun – Resend letterhead with revised email information. DONE
• Shaun – Create flyer, send via email to team and order copies for HOA mtg. DONE
• Sue H. – Bring paper and clipboards to HOA meeting for sign up use.
• All – Recruit block captains at HOA meeting on 10/20.
