Discussion

· We decided who would put out (and what) information from the pet committee

· Janine is to submit a Pet Corner write up for HOA newsletter, which will also be put on the HOA website.

· Amy will write a letter telling all homeowners that pet committee exists and educate them on pet related issues. 

· Details of the survey to be put on website by A.J. She will also write a letter to the manager of the Apartments about pet issues.

· Both the letter and the website will contain info about joining the pet committee and about 53rdavenuepark.org (we suggested to the city that they include a dog park there).

· Dawn has volunteered to take meeting minutes.

· Committee's suggestions we are going to give to HOA board to help alleviate pet problems:

· More pet stations at designated areas by parks. 

· Signs about pet leash law and picking up after dogs to be put at entrances to neighborhood and parks for all visitors to notice. Details of costs and placing of items as well.

· Still considering ideas we can share with neighborhood about alleviating cat issues.
